Selected Work
Developed a complete evacuation route system for Wood County, integrating road network analysis, traffic flow modeling, and designated shelter locations. Delivered as interactive web maps for EMA staff and printable PDF atlases for field use.
Analyzed land-use patterns across the Maumee Bay watershed to identify high-runoff areas and prioritize conservation buffer placement. Combined satellite imagery, parcel data, and hydrology models into a single decision-support dashboard.
Produced a comprehensive zoning atlas for 15 townships in Hancock County, standardizing disparate zoning data into a single, queryable format. The atlas is used by county planners for rezoning reviews and development proposals.

Black Swamp Analytics LLC is a GIS and geospatial analysis firm based in Bowling Green, Ohio. We specialize in serving the counties, townships, and agencies of the former Great Black Swamp region — the flat, rich, poorly-drained land that stretches across northwest Ohio and into Indiana.
